Whole hearts and Dreams ignited

My word. My heart! This will get the goosebumps bumping and the hearts-melting. What a wedding!

Hannah and Russ got married last year. Where the time has gone, I honestly don’t know. In the midst of building the website and Christmas, blogging this has been patiently waiting for me. Anything that’s worth the wait speaks for itself. This entire story does just that.

What made this even more intimate and poignant is how Hannah and Russ’s girls were incorporated into the day. It was very much a story of four lives coming together in one magical story. Bella and Bobby are two of THE most incredible young women you could ever wish to meet. With parents like this, it really is no surprise.

The stunning Pendrell Hall shone in all its glory on this rainy Friday. It didn’t matter one bit about the weather; the tone inside was very much be present, be yourself, and have fun. This rippled throughout the entire building; even to me. And when you’re shotting a wedding, this is tough to do. Somehow it just spoke it’s very own language to everyone involved. Hannah and Russ’s wedding planner said Hannah was one of the most relaxed brides she’d ever come across - and you can just see it. They didn’t want stress, nor pressure. They wanted they day they’ve wished for and for everyone to jump on board with them.

The preparations were all about intimacy. Hannah nd Russ chose only dear friends for hair, make-up, flowers and everything in between. They have a true talent-team behind them - and this was evident every step of the way. No corner unturned, their dearest gave their souls to make this the showcase it deserved. The gratitude Hannah and Russ expressed was so evident. They value each and every person who they share their time and their lives with. Gratitude is something they live by in their ethos and their moral compass; it’s just within them.

I adore the way Hannah’s Dad looks at her within these captures. He is just so proud. The kids even made up their own ceremony when the guests had drinks on the lawn. This was one of my favourite documentary moments of the day! It shows how ignited they were by the ceremony and the feeling of the day, to then recreate their own ceremony in a safe-space. Adorable!

A running theme was ‘Love is Enough.’ It’s on the cushion, it’s on the wall lights, and this, Pendrell have gotten spot on. It couldn’t have suited Hannah and Russ’s wedding more. They value love, in all this stands for. Equality, strength, forgiveness, gratitude, worth. They gave me so much hope that the goodness in this world exists in forms greater than we often give it credit for. Everyone within reach that day was wrapped within Hannah and Russ’s world for one day only. What a day it was.

The love shared between Hannah, Russ, Bella and Bobby makes your hairs stand on end. I feel incredibly lucky to have captured this day for them.

Love is enough. Over and over - it’s enough. And if you’re lucky enough to be in Hannah and Russ’s world - you will always feel enough, too.

Wedding love and all the feels…..

Enjoy the peep!
